Dr. Reza Nazemi, MD

I literally waited 2 months for an appointment, that I was looking forward to. The week before my appointment I have phone issues and I guess they called to confirm my appointment and once I finally got my phone together they say they canceled it. The front desk staff were SO rude. I’ve had migraines over 10 years and never have I felt so disrespected and such a waste of 2 months waiting to see a dr. I was SO furious.

I have been accumulating my sick days for a year now in order to be able to take 4 days off for my eye surgery. My surgery appointment for today was set over a month ago with Dr. Nazemi. I bought the eye drops I was prescribed for $130.00 and was all ready to go in. On Friday, I received a call at 4 pm confirming my 12 pm surgery in Pasadena, today. At 7 pm I received a call from Dr. Nazemi’s assistant letting me know that the doctor needs to see me before surgery because he was not sure which lend to use and for that, my surgery will need to be canceled. He had more than a month to see my file and bring me in for second review. Now I am sitting at home, my sick days are used up and I cannot take time with my family and use the days for vacation because I did not have enough notice. Now I have to wait an additional year to accumulate sick days. Shame on you for playing with people life’s like that.

Very thorough practical Dr. Great diagnostician for neurological disease or disorders.

Dr Nazemi is a compassionate intelligent doctor who is one of a kind!! I highly recommend him!

I've known Nazemi for past year and half...he is excellent as far as diagnosing what exactly you have BUT HIS TREATMENTS ARE NOT AS GOOD AS HIS DIAGNOSIS UNFORTUNATELY. he put me on cabergoline (reduces tumors) since I have a SMALL tumor on my pituitary gland but after months of using (losing dramatic amount of weight and heart problems at 30years old) I told him I want surgery because Medication is causing too many problems...he told me to take a blood test and make appt in THREE MONTHS ( after I had lost 60 lbs in 5 months)...I told him I probably won't EXSIST IN 3 months...he just smiled and said okay ...ill try to see u in 2 1/2 months...like that makes a fcking difference??! I wish he would tend to his younger, working patients with hormone problems a bit more seriously but this is not the case...I always wait at least 20+ Minutes to see him, not to mention his staff are EXTREMELY rude and useless ...sorry but it's the truth...he's a good doctor with NO TIME and hopefully your… old and have good insurance so u can maybe have a chance to make it...find another doctor if u want treatment but if u need someone to find out ur problem ...he's only good for that.

it took 4months to get an appointment.He pokes me with needles everywhere and claims he did EMG which was wasted as it was inconclusive. Charged my insurance arm and a leg and NO benefit from visit. why it takes so long to get appointment and then no conclusive diagnosis.

Exceptional diagnostic ability. He is very good at what he does.

I had no idea that my exam with Dr Nazemi would be almost an hour long. But he took the time to explain the entire process. And while low voltage electricity and thin as hair needles going into my skin did scare me a bit, Dr Nazemi's calmness, caution and care made the time go real fast and painless, other than for a couple of brief twitches from me.
