Dr. Rhonda Telette Halcomb

Compression socks and fat shaming HELLP syndrome is wild. Ended up in the hospital a week after my appointment because she said I was just fat and dramatic. My son is dead. Thanks Rhonda!

my experience was very poor. I waited for an hour and a half, no apology or explanation. I was the closest to leaving a doctor's office as I have ever been. the exam was excruciatingly painful - the worst gynecological exam I have ever had (and I'm over 60, so I've had quite a few). then they were supposed to schedule me for an ultrasound, and they completely screwed that up (scheduled me for the wrong procedure at TWO different locations). I would not go back there if I was dying.

Dr.Halcomb had let me get into a very critical situation and after my procedure she was very cold and did not care. She nor her staff ever called to check on me at all after all that had happened to me. She is not gentle at all when preforming procedures. I would not suggest anyone I know to go to her ever!

This doctor is very rude! She had absolutely no concern for my unborn baby or my health. She was so mean to me on my first visit that I requested to see one of the other DR's & she told me that she would have to approve that and she wasn't going to. Then she sent me away in tears. I've had 4 losses and having medical care is very important to me. It was hard but I found another practice to take me. When I told them what DR had done this to me their response was " enough said" yes, we will take you. I was also informed that what she did is illegal she can't decide to be my Dr and then dump me with no medical care. Not that I would ever go to her anyway but it was good to know.

I would first like to state that their office scheduled my appointment with the wrong location and I wasted nearly a half a day as a result. I chose this doctor because they were in my network, yet when they scheduled my mammogram they sent me to a place that was out of network. I should have double checked with my insurance first, but none of my other doctors have ever made such an error so the thought never crossed my mind. Now I am stuck paying several hundred dollars because they did not care to direct me to the proper place.

I switched to Dr. Halcomb when I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd child. From the first visit she always seemed hurried and never made any effort to "connect" to me. If I had questions, it seemed like I always had to stop her to ask as she was rushing out the door. She is nice enough, and I'm sure she's a competent doctor. Despite this, I decided to find another OB to take over the care and deliver of my baby, and my new care provider is amazing!

I've been seeing Dr. Halcomb for 12 years now. She's the only Ob/Gyn I've ever been too. I am pleased with her though. She delivered my daughter. I had a good birthing experience and a healthy pregnancy with no problems whatsoever. She answers my questions and listens to me. She does seem a little rushed at times. That's my only complaint.

I recently had Dr. Halcomb deliever my baby. I couldn't have been more happy with the way things went over the last 9 months. She very caring and listens to my thoughts and questions. Her office staff is amazing! Everytime I go in they are genuinely nice.

Dr. Halcomb is very slow to respond to patients' problems. I complained of symptoms for years before she finally ran tests. I had 2 growths on my ovaries, one had been growing for years. Luckily they're benign, but I would never recommend her as a doctor.

She has been rude on several occasions. The staff is great but one problem is getting call backs on test results. My first pregnancy was not as exciting as most due to the fact of the poor care I received from this dr. There are too many great doctors at summit to waste time seeing this one.
