Dr. Rhonda Phillips, DO

She does not listen very well. She misdiagnosed me at least twice. I tried explaining to her that I had researched one of the times and I thought I needed tested. She refused. She seems really defensive if you try to explain that you've researched symptoms on your own. Messed up my medication a few times. Also made me pay for second appointment when she made the mistake. I have been told by my new doctor that she is "old fashioned". Does things according to old practice. She also told me that I no longer had my auto-immune disease (Auto Immune = NO cause NO CURE). Final straw was the years of pain when she repeatedly said more Ibuprofen. I started getting bleeding stomach ulcers from the Ibuprofen. So she gave me Zantac... Went to a specialist on my own and found out that I had actually needed surgery all along. Please listen to what I say - do not trust her! I am not the only person that has fired her as my doctor...Many people have had terrible… experiences that I have heard about now. Even her decent nurses have quit. The last one there had the WORST attitude. I hated dealing with her.

I felt very comfortable she listened too every question and I didn't feel rushed at all.

I had a ct scan and she read it wrong and told me I had a baf virus so I went home and took a nap and woke up with so much pain BC my appendix burst. Now if she would have read it correctly or have taken the time to actually look at it maybe my appendix would not have burst BC I wouldn't have been sent home... I will be switching family physician not happy at all now I'm sitting here in the hospital three days after what I should have been. Even the nurses at the er where asking me why she didn't catch that .. Maybe she should pay for my extended stay at the hospital so angry

I went to Dr. Phillips b/c my family doctor retired and I needed a new family doctor stat. I went to the appt and made to feel like a big inconvenience. I have chronic back problems and brought my MRI results and documents from my other doctor. She refused to look over my MRI's or documents and in a round about way pretty much told me to take Advil, suck it up. She refused to fill out my FMLA paperwork or really listen. She just kept interrogating me and not listening. I should have listened to the reviews but, wanted to give her a chance. I won't be going back nor will I recommend her to anyone.

This doctor is not that great. I will be switching. She doesn't really listen to your complaints of symptoms and is quick to throw you into unnecessary testing and expenses rather than just prescribing an antibiotic (one would think an ongoing cold for over 2 months would be a sinus infection or something). Would not recommend her or her husband, Doug, to an enemy.

Not really that great. Doesn't diagnose your symptoms correctly and does not really listen to your complaints of symptoms. Would not refer her ...

And so do I she is Great!!
