Dr. Rhonda Ann Sanderson, MD

I can safely say if you suffer from any anxiety/ panic disorders, actually any issues that deal with the mind, this is thee cruelest MD i have ever experienced. Dr. Sanderson worked in “Women & Infants Hospital “Providence, Rhode Island while I was carrying a difficult pregnancy , I was only 20 and had serious anxiety issues. She lacked professionalism, character and above all empathy! I have never forgotten how she treated me. I was crazy, this coming from my gynecologist! I would never recommend Dr. Rhonda Sanderson for her name is always fresh in my mind (February 23, 1984) I gave birth to my son. That week (c-section) was something I will never forget. I’m positive I’m not the only patient she belittled over nearly four decades. Beware…I can pray over four decades she has become kinder, took more classes on treating women with dignity and respect regardless of their fears. I had to pick a star to post… she gets a zero!

Been going to Dr. Sanderson for 18 years. She has performed an ablation in addition to giving me solutions to other healthcare concerns. Appreciate her dedication to women's health.

I've been going to Dr. Sanderson for almost 2 years now and she's absolutely amazing. As a young woman, I was absolutely terrified at my very first appointment but Dr. Sanderson immediately eased my anxiety by asking me questions about myself while asking the standard doctor questions. She goes above and beyond to address all your concerns and answer all your questions. If you're a young adult or a mother of a young adult, go to Dr. Sanderson! You won't regret it!

I have been with Dr. Sanderson for over 30 years. She cares about her patient, is competent and thorough. She is very direct but it is beneficial to the patient. I have found her to be very knowledgeable and an advocate for her patient. She takes the time to explain things in a lay person's terms.

I was made to feel by Dr. Sanderson that she just didn't want me as a patient. Racking my brain as to why, I could only attribute it to the fact that I am not the typical over sixty woman. I went for an exam and she reacted strongly and negatively to my genital piercing. Thinking this was highly unprofessional, I told myself it didn't happen and I was overreacting. Then, I was told it wasn't possible to fully exam me internally because of something related to my body, which didn't make sense to anyone I'd told. After having told me that an internal exam could not be done, no alternative had been offered, leaving me hanging and confused as how to proceed with my preventative approach to my health. This menopausal condition did not stop another physician from doing an internal exam. Finally, I have accepted that this person does not want me as a patient.

Dr. Sanderson has been my gyno from the start. She may be strict but she knows her stuff. She found my moms breast cancer that a mammogram didn't show. That got me 8 extra years with my mom and I'm forever grateful.

Went for yearly gyn. visit (Im in my early thirties in relatively good health, but have a history of breast and ovarian cancer in the family). I can honestly say that Dr. Sanderson was one of the nicest and most professional gynecologists Ive met in a long time. We went over my present needs and family history, especially options to prevent cancer. She explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. She seemed like a doctor who is genuinely interested in her patients health. Office is neat and clean, and staff was friendly. I will definitely be going back for my next yearly visit!
