Dr. Rhonda Sue Steffel-Heling, MD

Was in dire straits with getting a prescription requiring an override. A medication in which I need around the clock for pain, as I had 3 back surgeries less than a year ago. She was filling in for my primary and because of this, she refused to assist me. Now, I am forced to suffer for 2 days as it's the weekend...all because she was unwilling to make a simple phone call to my insurance. My primary authorized the prescription and all the insurance needed was the Doctors verbal consent to approve it. I have dealt with her one other time and that left a bad impression for me. So if you're a new patient and looking for a Doctor, do NOT chose this one as she will not have your best interests at heart. Just her own. There is a lot more I would like to say but I prefer not to take it any further. I'm sure anyone who reads this will get the picture and hopefully...you will steer very far and clear of her. I plan to lodge a formal complaint with both the Quality department and Patient… Advocates at Prevea as well. This is a shameful outrage and I couldn't be more disappointed.
