No se como no le da pena esa galleria de fotos del before y el after donde todos los casos están horribles, deformes y con cicatrices enormes y disparejas. Si esos casos son los que exhibe cómo estarán los que no exhibe .Yo no creería que sea un cirujano plástico certificado por el board , está muy pésimo su trabajo y si es un artista será por cómo actúa con sus pacientes para convencerlos de que se hagan los tratamientos sabiendo muy bien que el no los sabe hacer ni remotamente bien.Da pena que esto ocurra en este país.

At check-in I was escorted to a private room to fill out paperwork with the nurse assistant. In this waiting room I was also introduced to their signature non-surgical procedure “Aesthetic Facial Balancing” - the nurse assistant tried hard to sell it. I tell her that i’ve seen his work on this and that I’m not really interested in it; not interested at all. Note: this procedure is not for everyone, not everyone should be sold on it. Next the DR comes into the room and sits down on the couch across from me to discuss what i’ve come in for today. I am a new patient and I explain to him that I normally get botox for my forehead lines and frown lines, two areas; that’s what I came in for. He suggests that I also need to take care of my under eye wrinkles and eyebrows for a brow lift. Going on further he believes fillers will be better than botox and that I will see longer lasting results. I immediately feel like what he is suggesting is a lot more than what I normally do and I am very… hesitant. I express this to him and tell him that this seems like a lot more than what I normally have done, I am use to two areas only and that I’m unsure about his suggestions. He tells me he doesn’t understand what I mean by two areas that he goes off units only. He says “areas” is a cheap term and asks who my previous DR was prior. Ignoring this slighting remark. I ask him to explain units and how many this would be; taking fillers completely out of question at this time. After he does I realize this is in fact a lot more botox than I normally take and this went from a $500 appointment to $1250. Note: I confirmed pricing with the front desk prior to scheduling the appointment. I tell him that at this time I really just want to do what I had originally came in for and I will think about the other areas for another time. He looks extremely disappointed and irritated and tells me that he does not recommend this and would prefer to do what he wants to do. And that I am not going to see great changes otherwise. I literally had to go back and forth with him while his assistant stood there nervously and awkwardly waiting for a conclusion. This lasted about 15 minutes with him giving me questioning, stupid and annoyed expressions. The DR made me feel cheap and guilty for not giving into his wants - which at this point is obviously more money! It was by far the most uncomfortable and awkward experience I’ve had at a doctors appointment.

Dr. Rian Maercks is the best plastic surgeon in Florida and quite possibly in the US; No need to go anywhere else if you are looking for results!!

I love you Dr. Maercks, you are the best, you changed my life!!!

He is clearly passionate about what he does and I am so thankful that I found him. He is extraordinarily talented and truly has a gift!

The worst experience in my life..My face was Swollen for two months, had to go somewhere else to dissolve the fillers he over injected(two other doctors have seen me after his fillers and both agreed that the fillers where over injected) i asked multiple times to have a very natural look and honestly I still don’t know why would he inject so many fillers in my face, and I believe the only reason is so he could charge me more money.
