Dr. Riaz Ahmad Mirza, MD

Dr. Mirza was a life saving surgeon for me. coming to see him is a pleasurable experience. He operated on me recently and took me out of pain. The surgery was painless, very easy and real quick. His medical assistant provided wonderful service with love, patience and care. I would recommend Dr Mirza to anyone needing a doctor in his specialty!

He has no idea what he is doing and reschedules appointments as frequently as he breathes. Waste of your time and money for co pays. Do not recommend.

Dr Mirza examined my double inguinal hernia and then walked me through my options. I chose surgery. He then went over several printed fact sheets circling important facts and percentages regarding facts about the surgery and probable outcomes (with percentages). He was extremely thorough and that inspired confidence. He took the time to answer all of my many questions completely and to my satisfaction. After the successful surgery, he was careful to explain the proper method of recovery, including the time it takes to resume full activity and exercise routines. He and his lead nurse, Debbie, are professionals in every sense of the word. I will, and have already, highly recommended Dr Mirza to my friends and associates. His friendly bedside manner is impeccable and rarely found in this day and age.

i needed surgery for a colon resection and had incredible difficulty finding a surgeon that my insurance participated with. i finally had to take a chance seeing dr mirza not knowing anything about him. it started with an office visit prior to the surgery though when i saw him in the hospital. his office staff from clerical to nursing to dr mirza himself were absolutely fantastic. office staff are generally some of the worst people to deal with outside of dmv. they answer the phone without an annoying menu to prompt through and are so polite and helpful. i immediately knew i was in the right place. i trusted dr mirza from the first time i met him as he thoroughly explained the process start to finish including expected recovery. he did an incredible job in surgery and followed up with me every morning during my 5 day hospital stay post surgery. i had no complications at all and even the scars i had been dreading from the incisions were so minimal. i can't recommend him… strongly enough. i am so grateful to him and his staff for the entire process. the best way for me to pay him back for what he did for me is to let others know how fantastic he is. i was very nervous about seeing him and now am so thankful that i ended up in his office over anyone else in the area.

Instead of giving out facts, Dr. Mirza tried to scare patient with incomplete and sometimes self-contradictory statements. Also he claims he doesn't look at patient's CAT scan before performing surgery. I don't trust my life in his hands.

I was very pleased with his diagnosis and surgery. No complaints and would recommend him to my friends and family.

I have been a patient of Dr Mirza three times. ( Lucky me) Anyhow, I have nothing but great thinsg to say about him and his office staff. He comes highly rated by me and everyone I know that has been to his office.John
