I called several times to get an update on verification on insurance on Friday. The staff member promised me that the person that handled this situation would call me back later that day or on Monday. And with no response, I called back on Tuesday and I informed them I wanted a response by the end of the day. I finally got a call for another person saying she wanted to "help me" and asked me what was my procedure I was having. At the point, she should of had this information and it showed me how unorganized Dr Aguirre's office staff is. And when I got upset and this staff member actually hung up on me. I called back and wanted to leave a message for Dr Aguirre and he doesn't have voice mail. My experience with the office staff was terrible. If you want to have staff members that lie to you and hang up on you, you can go for it. I am NOT going to be treated like that. I have made another appointment to see another doctor.

Dr. Aguirre has now performed two Carotid Endarterectomies on me both on the same side. No, it's not that unusual.I wanted 1.) the very best 2.) a physcian with the ability to "pick" through scar tissue 3. a physcian with patience . Dr. Aguirre provided everything I sought and more.I may have a bit more scarring which is inevitable the second time around. I cannot recommend this surgeon and his skills enough.
