Rude and uncaring. A world class Jerk. I'd use another adjective but this site won't allow it.

During wife's visit for episode of dangerously high blood pressure I accompanied her into treatment room to show my concern and to meet her doctor. The rudeness I encountered I will never forget. Initially I was not even acknowledged by the doctor. Eventually he addressed me, asking if I lived with her! And I'm the one who writes the checks paying him.

I received a letter a few years ago that explained Dr. Delgado was implementing a fee based concierge service. The concierge fee would not be covered by my PPO and I would still have co-pays, etc. The letter stated I could remain as a patient, but explained that patients in that service would receive priority. I called recently to schedule a physical and was informed that Dr. Delgado was only taking patients into his concierge service. I informed them I was a patient of the doctor's and they told me it had been to much time since my last visit. This is what is wrong with medicine, when a doctor is more concerned with money that a patient's care. I now have to go through the hastle of finding a new doctor and then have my records transferred over, all for a moeny grab.

Dr. Delgado is a nice, intelligent medical doctor. He knows his trade very, very well. Unfortunately, within the last two years of seeing this doctor, the turnover of the front office staff has been more often than it ought to be. The last time I was in was about six months ago and the girl called me thirty minutes before my scheduled appt. Gave me the results of my test, and tried to convince me to schedule a full physical even though I had just had one seven months prior. I went in, was asked why I was there, asked a few questions to update computer, and talked into a flu shot.I was surprised when my insurance EOB came, I was charged for a full office visit, charged twice for the flu shot, one for the actual injection by his nurse and again for the flu shot itself. The shot cost me almost 15 dollars more than going to the Urgent care center. This doctor is trying hard to be two kinds of doctors, one way is the "standard" way and the second is the "Concierge" method. Be… aware that the front office girls are not always pleasant and some of them can be downright rude. It is really too bad because Dr. Delgado is such a nice and caring doctor. Good Luck with the Front office staff, the doctor is great and the staff of girls in the center part of the office are usually busy on the phones or computers and rarely look up.
