He knows more about medications then anyone

Dr. Fermo takes any length of time needed to get down to the root of your problems. He truly cares for all of his patients. He is brilliant in pharmacology and has given me many different ways to help treat my problems.

My son sees him and not once has he met our appointment time. Being in a waiting room for more than an hour with a toddler is unacceptable! I am finding another doctor.

Dr Fermo is worth the wait. He took both of my kids within a week. The reviews all say that you have to wait... that is true... but it's worth the wait. He spent the time with my teenage son and is gaining his trust with each appointment. My son was severely depressed and had qu it talking to me, whom he has always been open and honest with. My 8 year old daughter is a firecracker and we had been informed that she may be diagnosed with bipolar eventually. Dr Fermo did not think that will be the case and is optomistic about her treatment of ADHD and has actually suggested that she is gifted/talented iq range. He is laid back and connects with the kids by finding their interest and uses the conversations to aid in his evaluations. My kids are now happier and healthier than they have been in some time. In my opinion the office staff and wait time is nothing when considering the mental health of your children. We are even a one income family that has okay insurance.... but I would sell my… kidney and bone marrow if necessary for my kids to continue treatment by Dr Fermo.

Receptionist never called me back after I left three messages to schedule an appointment, I only got an appointment when I called her a fourth time. Completely clueless as to what a first visit would entail..."uh, Yeah, I think you will all see him together..." I only made an appointment because Dr. Fermo was recommended to me by our primary doctor. Read reviews on vitals.com while waiting 45 minutes in the waiting room with my child whom I had taken out of school. I left after 50 minutes. Another patient was still waiting (and quite disturbed) that he hadn't been seen for his 11:15 appointment - at 12:35! Unprofessional, period. Why even schedule appointments when you don't intend to honor them? And to keep people waiting for an hour or more? No way.

In the nearly 8 years I have seen Dr. Fermo I have experienced nothing but kindness, adaptability, professionalism, and top notch staff service. I would refer anyone to this practice! I feel comfortable enough to be completely honest and have appreciated the extra mile Dr. Fermo has gone for me and as I negotiated a very chaotic personal life. He has been a source of therapeutic constancy and professional help. He remains educated about new treatments re: medication & neurology treatments in general. I do not know what I would've done without him as he is partnered with to increase my quality of life for many years now.

AFTER WAITING AN HOUR PAST MY APPOINTMENT TIME I NOTIFIED THE STAFF I COULDN'T POSSIBLY WAIT ANY LONGER - AND I JUST GOT A BILL FOR A NO SHOW??? Seriously? This is just a horrible place. Paying and waiting to be ignored and now paying to wait? I'll do better research when I pick his replacement.

Dr Fermo is a caring doctor. I wouldn't want to have to change doctors for anything. He evaluates my meds to keep things running smoothly. He says to always call if I need him or anything changes.

Office is peaceful and Dr. Fermo is by far the best psychiatrist in town.
