Dr. Ricardo Jorge Komotar, MD

I hear many people say a particular Dr. has a G-d complex. Well Dr. Komotar does not at all however, he is pretty close to G-d with the work that he does. I would personally trust his word without any doubt or hesitation and I would put my life in his hands with full confidence. He is so amazing. Where should I start? Dr. Komotar is an amazing, brilliant, kind, compassionate, caring, person.He is actually beyond genius level. He is literally a lifesaver. He has the capacity to perform procedures and operations that no other physician can. To me he is the closest to G-d that one can get. It is evident that Dr. Komotar engages in his passion and this is beyond a profession, it is his calling. I have referred several people to him and they can’t stop talking about how wonderful he is. He is also very conscientious regarding who his staff members are. In particular, Tatiana. She is always there to save the day. She is so kind, caring, and compassionate. Tatiana always goes the extra mile… to ensure that at the end of the day every patient is taking care of and there is no stone unturned. I am so grateful for everything she has helped me with. Tatiana has the ability to make you feel better no matter how difficult a scenario can be. I thank Dr. Komotar and Tatiana for everything. I don’t know what I would have done without them. Very disappointed about the way he treated us and we only had two appointments with this Dr.. My husband had a very aggressive brain tumor. The second visit was 3 min and like " anyways", of course he knew exactly what was happening, never was clear .I felt like he treated us like if we were stupid, specially with my husband. The Dr. didn't said that the images showed in the MRI were new tumors despite I was insisting on that. We knew the prognosis. Doctors need to be honest and kind at the same time with the patients even knowing that the patients will died soon. Patients and caregivers needs to know what is happening and what to expect. COPPING IS REALLY DIFFICULT FOR PATIENTS WITH CANCER ,MORE FOR PATIENT WITH BRAIN TUMOR, THE TRANSFORMATION IS REALLY FAST,AT SOME POINT THEY BECOMES ANOTHER PERSON,THEIR BRAINS CAN'T FUNCTION PROPERLY.

Great skill and care, saved my life

I cannot fathom anyone giving Dr. Komotar less than five stars. He has saved my daughter and so many other people's lives and there are not enough words to express his brilliance and how grateful we are for him.

Thank you God for putting me in Dr. Komotars safe hands. He is a talented surgeon with the best bed side manner ever. The UM team in NICU are the utmost of caring and dr Komotar support staff were amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my HEART��

I had a craniotomy performed by Dr. Komotar in January. I have to say that even though he wasn't my initial neurosurgeon I didn't doubt for a second that he was the right guy when I met him.The level of professionalism and beside manners that this Dr. Has are unbelievable. So grateful!
