Dr. Lugo took care of my grandmother. He went above and beyond to explain everything and answer all of our questions. Not only did he have superb bedside manner, he is an excellent surgeon. My grandmother has many healthy issues and he got her through a difficult surgery. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you for caring Dr. Lugo! This past week my 83 year old mother came in to Saint Thomas West emergency room with extremely low heart rate. We were all very scared not knowing what was to happen, Dr. Lugo was the Doctor that came in and examined my mother and decided she needed an ablaizion to help correct the PVCs in her heart and also a pacemaker. My mother was very scared when she started to cry without doubt my sister and I could see the compassion that he had for his patients we knew at that very moment we wanted him to be our mother’s doctor! The following day he proceeded to do both procedures all went well her blood pressure is down and her heart rate is back to normal. I would like to personally thank Dr. Lugo for his wonderful bedside manner with my mother and the great care and kindness he showed, Not only to my mother but also to our family. Thank you again for giving my mother a little quality back to her life I am not just treating her like she was too old to matter! May God always bless you… and your family.
