Dr. Ricardo Ramirez, DDS

Rafael Ricardo Ramirez, DDS aka Dr. Rick, was born in Laredo, Texas in l957. He was raised in a predominantly farming and ranching community of Hebbronville, Texas. Dr. Rick graduated from Hebbronville High School in l975 and received his undergraduate degree, but completed his degree requirements in December of l979 at St. Mary's University. He went on to get his doctorate degree in 1984 from UTHSCSA.
In July of 1984 Dr. Rick opened up his practice in San Antonio, six months later he opened up a satellite office in his hometown of Hebbronville. Dr. Rick has always had a vision of serving an area of need; he is the only dentist in Hebbronville and surrounding areas. Growth and development of the Hebbronville practice kept Dr. Rick constantly on the move. By this time, he and his wife Carmen were sharing the responsibility of 4 daughters, a ranching operation, and two fully developed dental practices in cities 160 miles apart.
In September of 2001, Dr. Rick earned his Fellowship within …the Academy of General Dentistry (F.A.G.D.). He continues to participate in and develop his continuing education certifications with office and personnel development seminars.
Having outgrown the Hebbronville, office, Dr. Rick sought out the abandoned medical clinic of his great uncle and purchased it from his cousin. He completely restored and remodeled his uncle's clinic. He since has taken on an associate to pick extra days in Hebbronville to better serve the growing community. He opened his new doors in February of 2008.
Aside from the practice of dentistry, Dr. Rick's passion and leisure time are spent running his cow/calf operation in Duval and Starr Counties, working with his quarter horses and keeping up with his wife and daughters.
