Dr. Richa Mishra, MD

Dr. Mishra is a caring and thoroughly professional physician who takes the time to review a patient's history, current status, as well monitor any changes in health. She is responsive and approachable with any and all questions. Great doc!

Dr. Mishra was quite a disappointment to me as a rheumatologist. She did diagnose me and treat me correctly. However, she is quite cold and sometimes a bit rude. The wait times in her office have been anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes. The 90 minute wait time was for my first appointment, you then wait an additional 20 to 30 minutes for the PA to come in to talk with you. Dr. Mishra would then come in and spend no more than five minutes with you. At one visit I never even met with her but ran into her in the hallway, and she spoke to me for all of 30 seconds. With that being said, I am being charged my co-pay for a visit with a doctor and not a PA. Today was the last straw. I arrived before another patient. We both had a 1030 appointment. They took him ahead of me. When I question the receptionist I was told that’s just what she does. I don’t get it. I waited another 30 minutes and was not called for my appointment, I admit I was very upset. I asked for my money back for the visit and… for my records to be transferred to another rheumatologist. I have not felt comfortable with Dr. Mishra for sometime and had scheduled an appointment with a new doctor to see if I could be better treated. I am having my records transferred and praying that this doctor is more caring and feeling than Dr. Mishra. I should also mention I was in the hospital for four days and a report of my hospitalization was sent to her. I never did hear from her or her office. I hope this helps someone trying to find a rheumatologist.

I was referred by my neuro bc she said how thorough she is and does new tests not all rhuemys do. Besides helping with my current condition her testing revealed that I have Hashimotos and sjogrens disorders. Looking back this explains alot. My other rhuemy never checked for these. I am 8 years into my orig dx for PACNS and only got these 2 dxs recently. I wonder how much of my symptoms were from these newly dxd disorders. I am hopefull for a healthier life now that I am more informed.

Mt Laurel office. Extremely long wait times. Seems like patients are double booked. Rude staff. Dr. Is polite but does not listen to patient if you disagree with her. Too much emphasis on prescribing expensive drugs that increase revenue. Dismissive when you challenge her and minimizes concerns about medication. Also does not disclose risk factors of drugs. Talks down to patients.

My Dr Mishra is always there for me. When I have a RA Flair she is caring and loving. My present flair was very painfull , I called her office and spoke with her staff and was immediately seen that day. Ultra Sound and injection and Dr Mishra relieved my severe pain. Thanks to her and her wonderfull staff
