His previous work includes serving as a staff physician at pain treatment facilities in Tennessee, Florida, Illinois and North Dakota.While putting together individual treatment plans, Dr. Adkins focuses on a multi-modal approach with medication management being an important adjunct to the treatment of pain.He was first drawn to the field of pain management and anesthesiology through his desire to form meaningful and therapeutic relationships with his patients. The connections and friendships continue to drive him in his work today.When not seeing patients, Dr. Adkins likes to surf and spend time with his family.
