I was seen by Dr. Allen in the ER. I was very happy with his care and left knowing the cause of my illness and was given instructions and medication. Very kind and professional.

I am so thankful to the full responding team Cayuga Medical Emergency Dept. that has may saved my life on March 23rd, 2024 due to multiple vehicles accident. You are all my guardian angels and I will never be able to thank you enough except to repay your compassion. You will all be forever in my heart and have my unending gratitude. He gave me excellent care in the ER.

I don't know who this person is. I was at the ER (ED) on 10/12. The primary Provider is listed as Michael Xylistra. I don't know who this is either. I was in the Waiting area/ER for about 8 hours. Totally unacceptable. When I finally saw a Dr. it was a female who was waiting to get my CT scan scheduled. It had been done perhaps 3 hours previously. Bloodwork had been done by calling me into the ER, they drew my blood and sent me back out the the waiting area. Conditions there at CMC ER are horrendous. I don't have an alternative location, but this ER needs major overhauling. Doctors, too. The doctors and nurses there may be top notch, but the facility doesn't allow them to do their job properly.

Caring and knowledgeable! Dr Allen worked hard to be supportive and attentive even when it seemed like the ER was drowning in high numbers of patients

Doctor Allen has great bedside manner, but not a good doctor for the emergency room. I came in the emergency room with some fruit stuck in my throat and I waited 4 and half hours he didn’t look down my throat until he read the results from an MRI which was not necessary ( a ploy Because I had Medicare) .I spent way too much time in the hospital, just to have a pen light dropped in to my mouth and a pair of toggles to take it out.

The Cayuga Medical Center Emergency Room staff provided compassionate, effective care for my lacerated finger.
