Dr. Richard Aranibar, MD

Dr. Aranibar is excellent, however, the support staff does NOT follow up. I had a bronchoscopy on a Thursday and was told by the doctor that I would receive a call on Monday with the results of the culture. On Thursday, I called the group, went through the entire menu, reached a live person, only to be cut off. After returning the call again, I was told a message would be given to the staff and I would receive a call. All I can say is it's a good thing this wasn't an emergency, or I would be dead before I received the proper treatment.

I was very pleased with my visits with Dr. Aranibar. He was very friendly and answered all the questions without making me feel rushed. I would recommend him as a pulmonoligist to anyone who asked.

After reading some of the negative reviews I was worried about seeing him. He turned out to be very pleasant and knowledgeable. He didn’t rush and answered all of my questions.

HE IS ONE OF THE BEST WHEN IT COMES TO ASTHMA AND COPD

My husband was referred by our Intercoastal GP. Spots were present on an X-ray of his lungs which were thought to be possibly cancer. A test was preformed and they said it was micas from pneumonia that he had a few months earlier. When the doctor talked to me after the procedure, he was the most rude, arrogant doctor I’d every encountered. He said I was worried about nothing and was acting like a scared little girl. Now about a year later, my husband was diagnosed with kidney cancer that has metastasized to his lung. Mayo Clinic said the tumors have been there awhile. So the spots that this jerk said were nothing are now taking my husband’s life. I have a lot of choice words which I will not list here. Anyone that goes to this doctor better get a second opinion. Be prepared to be treated like a 2nd class person.

I have been a patient of Dr Aranibar since 1998 and he is in my opinion the BEST PULMONARY doctor in this area. He listens to my needs and always takes as much time as I need. Having a chronic disease with multiple autoimmune disorders attached to it, he works with my primary and my other specialists to make sure my best interests are primary. I highly recommend him. 7u

Dr. Aranibar has provided excellent care for my late wife and me. For her: she was awaiting a referral to a hospital for a possible lung transplant and it was a year without any action. We changed doctors to Dr. Aranibar and she had an appointment at Tampa General within less than 3 weeks. I have been his patient now for a few years and I am extremely satisfied with his care and wonderful bedside manner. I have zero negatives about him nor anyone on his staff.
