Hurt my shoulder , I was worried something was torn and asked for an MRI, Dr. Ballard told me there wasn't anything that could be torn in your shoulder, which anyone with common knowledge knows that is false. , so he refused to do the MRI. All he looked at was the X-rays from the ER, and then asked me to lift my arms straight up( I had a seperated AC) and this was every time I visited him( like 4 times) and just said " yep you're getting better"didn't do any follow up X-rays . It was a work related injury so I had to go to the doctor they sent me to, finally I just got tired of the poor service and told him to send me back to work. I strongly recommend you avoid this doctor at all costs. And one other thing, he acted like I was a waste of his time and like he just wanted me to leave, and came off as annoyed when I asked him questions.

Not only was he patient with my child, but took exta time joking with her and putting her at ease. His entire staff was just as warm and caring as him. He took exta time to explain not just to me and my husband, but also my daughter what was wring and the procedure she needed. Definitely the best surgeon as far as bedside manor I have ever encountered. I would definitely trust him with any of my family again. He will certainly be our first choice if we ever need his field of speciality again!

Dr. Ballard was rude and very short with me, like I was wasting his time. I know Drs. are very busy but I was there with a problem and would like him to at least seem like he cared alittle! Would not go back to him if given a choice.
