Dr. Richard James Baron, MD

I have recommended Greenhouse Internists and Dr. Baron to many friends and all of my local family members. He and his partners have really stepped up to serve the patients, trying new ways of doing things while delivering always a high standard of care. Even when you can tell that the office is having a rough day, they rise above it as a team and "move on" to help and care for everyone.

Dr. Baron has been my physician, through Greenhouse Internists, for 20 years now. He (or one of his excellent associates) is always available when you need him (or her). There's never a rush, the caring is palpable, and I've always felt like I was in the hands of a very skilled professional. I recommend him and Greenhouse Internists, wholeheartedly.

He thinks that he's good and knows his stuff. Perhaps he does.But his bedside manner is dismal, and his compassion is greatly lacking. Hes in such a hurry to get out of the room, you may not be able to get to the root of the problem.The office staff there lacks professionalism. I spent over an hour waiting to even go back, then more time waiting for the doctor to come in. After that, I felt rushed and Baron was in such a hurry that he could barely make eye contact.I do not recommend.

I was initially very happy with Dr. Baron for accurately diagnosing a condition that my previous family doctor had misdiagnosed. However, he and other doctors in the practice would not investigate a series of other complaints and Dr. Baron referred me to psychologist. After many expensive visits to a host of specialists that could have been more quickly narrowed down if he had taken my problems seriously, I finally found a new family doctor and specialists who were able to address the problems, which were medical as I suspected.

Excellent doctor, and terrific human being - that's Dr. Baron. My family has been seeing him as our primary doctor for 18 years. All the doctors and staff at Greenhouse Internists are just wonderful, but Dr. Baron and Dr. Fabens go far beyond the many doctors who treat both of us for our complex multiple health issues. We are lucky to have them as our doctors.
