Dr. Barth has been my endocrinologist for over 25 of the 38 years I have lived with diabetes. I have found him to be a very knowledgeable, personable, and caring doctor. Yes, he is very busy. That is because he is good. Would you really want to go to a doctor that you could get an appointment with the next day? When I have had questions, he has always taken the time I needed to be certain they were answered. Maybe his manner just fits my needs, but I find Dr. Barth to be an excellent doctor

Dr Barth has been my doctor for most of my 35 years of T1d. Straight answers and call me out on certain things. Numbers don't lie - very to the point. His office very good on prescriptions, reminder calls about appts, very knowledgeable about new processes. I would recommend him to close family members. Dr. Barth is a nice guy and very knowledgeable about diabetic care

I think Dr. Barth is a very good Dr. and knows his medicine very well. The problem is I think he may have to many patients and can't keep up. I don't like being put back 4 months if I need to reschedule an appointment and it should not take days for a return phone call from his office. I am now going to find a new Dr. for my diabetes that hopefully has more time in his schedule.

as a very astute patient, i listen to my doctor. when my doctor tells me i am doing good, i believe him. when i have an issue about a test after i get an 100 percent score from him and the test says my chlolesterol is high, and he says everything is fine about 2 days ago, well i dont believe in him or his anecdotes anymore. he does not even want to talk more than 2 minutes on the phone with his patients. i have difficulty with this as i am 200 miles away from his care and 2 minutes of a very curt call will never amount to my drive to see him.

I really like Dr. Barth. He has a caring manner and easy to talk to vibe about him. His staff can often be brisk - which feels rude, but they are busy.

Dr. Barth has always been helpful in any situation - he always makes time for you - makes you feel like you are his only patient - helps me stay calm and not get excited when things are not good.
