Dr. Richard Joseph Bearoff, MD

I went to Radnor Medical Associates for about 10 years. My original doctor left but I continued to use them for a few years after that. There was an incident that happened with me and another incident with my husband that caused us to switch. In my case, I was very sick to the point where I could not breathe. I am a runner and walking down the hallway I would get winded and have to stop to catch my breathe. I called to schedule an appointment. The receptionist gave me a hard time when I insisted I needed to be seen that day. I felt like she was implying I was being melodramatic. I did get in. I then sat in the waiting room for over an hour, wheezing and barely able to breathe. When I was finally seen, the doctor tested my breathing and said, "Wow, you really can't breathe." My airways were only 10% open. In this case, it was not so much an issue with DR. Bearoff, but I was so insulted with how I had been treated by the receptionists. In my husband's case, he was very ill. He… came to see Dr. Bearoff with a high fever. He had also been throwing up. Dr. Bearoff just sent him home. That night, I had to take him to the emergency room. He was admitted and stayed for two days. He had pneumonia. Dr. Olex was great but I had some very poor experiences after he left and switched practices. I had seen some of the other physicians there as well and was not impressed with anyone.
