Dr. Richard Allan Berlando, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Berlando's for years. My normal visits are once a year for my physical and maybe a head cold here and there. Through the years, he has always been very detailed in his care of me. He has shown to stay on top of any issues that could possibly be presented, taking into consideration my family's prior health history. Most recently, I was under his care and he personally called and checked on me daily, ensuring I was on the right course to recovery. If you are wanting a doctor that truly cares about you and really has your best interest at heart, Dr. Berlando would make an excellent PCP.

Administrative staff regularly sends you 20 and 30 dollar bills like your paying a monthly gym membership.No matter how small your problem is this Dr. Berlando is going to send you to all his friends who are specialist (can you say milking it)This Dr. office will not give you more than 1 refill on any prescription so they can force you back in the office to squeeze more out of you.No matter how high my blood pressure increased they refused to allow my pharmacist to refill my prescription until i come in for more fee squeezing.HORRIBLE!!!! I came in with an infection on my arm, he diagnosed it as MRSA without any blood work or culture but talked to a “specialist” about it. He told me I should go to the ER, I requested he do a patient transfer to the ER so I could just go, not have to wait and they’d already have all the information he did, he refused, I requested he contact a certain Infectious Disease specialist so I could go straight to him and have the fluid antibiotics that he was saying I needed, he refused to do that also, I asked if he could discuss it with my aunt who is a retired ER nurse, head of the cardiology department, he was reluctant to that, wouldn’t listen to anything she was saying and hung up on her, then said “I’ve told you 3 times you just need to go the ER, that’s what I’m telling you.”

This guy's a complete idiot. All he does is take your money and sends you to someone else. The simplest diagnosis escapes him. Bedside manner is a bit creepy. Keep looking...

My family & I have been going to Dr. Berlando for years. It is his thoroughness that has saved my life, my son & husband. If it wasn't for Dr. Berlando I would have died from cancer that I didn't even know I had. My husband had 3 arteries closed at 98% & my son has had numerous problems that could have been overlooked.

Dr Berlando is what a doctor should be. Either he is a terrific actor or he really cared about me. The front desk staff member wasnt all that friendly to me but all of the nurses were awesome. Looks like I'll be coming back for life.

I've been going to Dr. Berlando for years. He always listens, takes an interest in your life and his staff has always been extremely nice.
