Dr. Richard Alan Bernstein, MD

Must wait over 6 months to obtain an appointment for an existing patient. Very rushed through appointment (after waiting 6 months to see doctor). Dr. Bernstein spent less than 15 minutes total with patient and was very uninterested in patients well being.

Dr. Bernstein is a brilliant scientist and a meticulous physician. He is heavily involved in research and is not a physician who holds patients hands but he is clearly committed to their care. I am a former biomedical scientist with advanced degrees and can communicate with Dr, Bernstein at a level that demands little of his time. If your problem is potentially dangerous you may be willing to see someone on top of their game who is not a good hand holder. It is probably very difficult for a new patient to see Dr. Bernstein without a referral.
