i was in there for about 10 minutes, i got one tooth pulled and a wisdom tooth pulled. when he said “they’re both out now” i was SHOCKED. he preformed super quickly but carefully, had nice classical music playing and kept telling me how good of a patient i was. i recommend him, especially because of how nervous i was at first about getting my teeth taken out since i thought it would only be a consultation, but he said there was time to just get it done with today and i’m glad i listened and just got them out today.

At 66 yrs. of age I finally had to resort to getting a partial for my upper teeth. I had to have seven extractions before being fitted for the partial. It consisted of a couple full teeth, surface tips but all the roots. During the consultation visit he expressed his concern to make me as comfortable as possible, I new there’d be lots of novocaine involved, so he prescribed before the actual surgery that i take two sedation pills before arriving. You’ll need a driver of course. When i got there they took me right in, gave me a little gas then the shots. I Didn’t Feel A Thing and within 30 minutes I was on my way home. That’s about as pleasant , if you want to look at it that way, that a dental visit for oral surgery could be. Dr. Black and his staff were very caring, concerned and efficient on what had to be done. Definitely worth a 5 star rating by me

I drove to Wellsboro from Williamsport [1 hour] for a tooth extraction since Dr. Black was MUCH less expensive!! I was summoned into an exam room at 10:00.....my appointment time!! Dr. Black quickly gave me two shots of Novocain that prevented me from feeling ANY pain during the extraction. Dr. Black asked two or three times if I was feeling any pain. He and his staff were very friendly and helpful when I called to set up the appointment and when I asked questions after the extraction.

Totally satisfied.
