He received his Medical Degree from the University of South Florida. He serves as a Courtesy Clinical Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida and has served as Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cornell University Medical College. Previous honors and activities include serving in various leadership positions of the Florida Society of Gynecologic Oncology (President from 2004-2006), Director of Clinical Research at MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando, and multiple faculty teaching awards. Dr. Boothby has authored or co-authored more than 15 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
