Dr. Richard P Boyle, MD

My son recently had a consultion for wisdom teeth extraction, a charge of 175, paid by me upfront and then billed to insurance. When I received the explanation of benefits, Metlife did not cover any charges, I called Metlife they said it was coded for a dental evaluation and I described the visit and told them I was told it was a consultation and they said it should have been coded different to get covered as a consultation. I called The radford office and she said she will not code it different and was not nice about it. My next step is to call the office manager. They were also going to charge me out of pocket over 2000 to take his wisdom teeth out, I checked with my dental and Kool smiles is only a little over 200 For the service, consultation included, so my son is going there.

Dr. Boyle was very helpful in answering all of my questions and providing the care I needed.
