Dr. Richard Frank Caruso, MD

Scheduling communication can use some vast improvements. I cannot begin to express my dissatisfaction with practice operations. Hopefully, the office performance is not a reflection on the quality of the medical procedure and follow up actions.

Professional. Great bedside manner. Answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns prior to and after my Endoscopy. His staff made me feel comfortable and put me at ease throughout my entire experience at Seaside Gastro. Your in good hands with him. Can't say enough about Dr. Caruso and his team.

I don't know whether it's the office staff, the doctor, or both but my mother had a very serious delay in treatment with this office, by at least a month, maybe two. I would not trust my care at this office.

Dr Caruso is the best! Not only is he warm and caring, he's a very skilled and knowledgeable doctor. I can't say enough things about him and his staff. I went for a colonoscopy, which is very stressful. The nurses were so kind and comforting. The anesthesiologist was terrific! All I remember is saying 'hi' Dr. Caruso, and waking up in recovery. It was awesome.(well as far as colonoscopies go :)) He's an asset to the Delaware medical community. Thank you Dr. Caruso!

I was referred to this office to be evaluated for suspected colon cancer. I was seen 1 hour and 15 minutes past my scheduled time. My anxiety and frustration was high at this point. The office was wonderful and communicated that they were running behind, but that didn't change the fact. I was seen by the NP who told me about standards of care. At no time were my fears, or concerns or suggestion of alternative treatment/diagnostics addressed. At no time was I a partner in MY care.....until I insisted that I should be. She said that she would discuss it with the doctor. The doctor, who never met or spoke to me, denied my treatment plan. I should add that I am a nurse, and am aware of alternate treatment/diagnostic options.

Have had nothing but extremely positive experiences with Dr. Caruso. Recommend highly.

His carelessness caused me to spend a week in Beebe hospital and a $3000.00 bill that I was reponsible for even though Dr. Caruso was the cause of this injury.

I am originally from Wilmington but have been here for the past 6 years. It is hard to find a GREAT doctor down here since everyone is so so busy but no matter how busy Dr. Caruso is he remembers you and you feel confident that know exactly what he is talking about. HE REALLY CARES no matter how busy he is.
