Have gone to him for years. Gets right to the point and gets things right. Have seen other docs that give me the runaround, he doesn't. Friendly too, rare these days. AND helps you save your money with medicines procedures etc., rather than prescribe any and everything...

Amazing Doctor

Very good at listening to your health issues and resolving to the best of his ability.

Dr. Cash is awesome! He takes care of my eight-six-year-old grandparents, my wife's eighty-nine year old grandma, my parents, wife, cousins, and myself. My wife's grandma got straightened out after being on the wrong medications while under the care of another doctor--her kidney was becoming damaged as a result of the medicine. Dr. Cash put her in the hospital for what he said was a "tune-up" and she has been fine ever since. Show up to your appointment 30 minutes late because he will be late. Dr. Cash will spend as much time as he needs with you. He will not rush. His office staff is another issue. One of the billing ladies is crazy, the staff neglected to call my wife for her test results while Dr. Cash was on vacation. The triage nurse makes it seem as if you are bothering her. Our local pharmacy and the ER room workers have both commented about dealing with his office. We go to the office since Dr. Cash is awesome. Once he retires, we'll leave. Highly recommend… him.

very friendly Dr. He loves to talk about whats happening in the news. I appreciate the time he takes with each patient. That is why I wait for him. He cares and listens to your concerns and thinks and looks back at you past history and exams you then makes a plan. He involves the patient in their own care and is a genuine man of wisdom. I trust him.

I needed him (Dr. Richard Cash)to give me a referral to see a specialist, one I had been seeing for 5 years for a chronic illness. Getting a referral was new under my medical plan, so I was ignorant of the procedure. He exploded at me in the outer office, in front of other patients and told me I had no right to tell him I wanted a referral. It was up to him to decide if I need a referral, and I am not allowed to tell him what I wanted. I will never see him again and do not recommend him, not even for a ZIT.

He is very professional and always explains what is going on with my health. Right there in an emergency and always follows up. Very conscientious.

The 3-star rating is for the doctor only, not his staff. Here is a great example of how a very good doc gets a bad rep because of his staff. Long waits past your appt time are probably his own fault, but trying to get an appt when you are sick can be a challenge because his triage nurse gives you the impression you are just calling to bother her. I have only requested a "same-day illness" appt once in the two years I have been a patient, but it took me a full week of calling and dealing with her before she agreed to give me the appt. By that time I had pneumonia. Also if you call early in the day (8 a.m.)with a problem, don't expect a return call until 4 or 5 pm. If you have one of the last appts of the day, the office staff is long gone by the time you get out of the exam room so if you need to make a follow up appt, nobody is there to help you.I would not recommend this doctor to others because of these issues, despite the fact that I believe he is a very good practitioner.
