Excellent Doctor and Staff

I went to Dr. Catrambone today as he and his office were kind enough to take me for an emergency tooth extraction. He not only did a fantastic job with the procedure, he showed a tremendous amount of compassion. I was very nervous and upset about all of the pain I had been suffering with the past week and Dr. Catrambone stayed around after the procedure to speak with me and settle me down. As far as doctors go, he is top shelf as well as highly skilled. I would recommend him to anyone in need of an oral surgeon.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a dentist. I went for a simple consultation. There was a storm going on and they refused to take me early and told me I would be charged if I cancelled my consultation. My work place was let out early because of the storm. I sat in his waiting room for two hours. When my scheduled appointment finally came up I was still waiting...fifteen minutes later still waiting ...twenty minutes later still waiting. I was finally taken into a room at 4:35pm (my appointment was for 4:15pm). I finally saw the doctor at 5:00pm. He looked in my mouth with a tongue depressor and said I should have a wisdom tooth removed. It took literally 30 seconds and then I was shown the door. For 3 hours I waited for him to spend 30 seconds with me. And to top it all off, a young man came in off the street (literally) while I was waiting. It wasn't an emergency and he was taken in immediately ahead of my scheduled appointment. He was with his mother who even… stated it was wrong to take him right in while I was left waiting some more. Can you say "TOTAL DISREGARD FOR CERTAIN PATIENTS?"

I had severe TMJ that had been dismissed by my dentist and another maxillo-facial surgeon as not a real problem, or not fixable. One doctor referred me to a pain management support group so that I could get relief by talking about pain. It was demoralizing and I suffered needlessly for several years thinking that I was imagining the pain and limited movement in my jaw. Dr. Catrambone began by actually taking an x-ray of my jaw and confirmed that the joints on both sides were indeed damaged, validating the pain I was in. His treatment was attentive but conservative - although he is a surgeon, he tried other techniques first, including a night guard, physical therapy, etc. While those treatments provided some relief, they were not a cure. He did a simple, non-invasive procedure in the office that completely relieved my symptoms. I have been symptom-free for more than 10 years. TMJ is one of those nightmare diagnoses that tend to be ignored or butchered with surgery. Dr. Catrambone… was gentle, attentive, and absolutely knows what he's doing. He was not content to leave a patient in pain and with limited motion in the jaw, he continued to try other techniques until something worked. I would recommend him to anyone.

I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Catrombone, what a wonderful and caring doctor! Highly recommend him, very caring and friendly. As nervous as I was, he made me feel very comfortable and made it a great experience!

I have 2 impacted molars; one got pulled out a few moths ago & one I'm getting pulled next week. Dr. Catrambone removed the 1st one and I was very impressed at how painless it was & how he's a really nice guy. He's extremely gentle; believe me, I've been to "jackhammer" oral surgeons before & Dr. Catrambone's not one of them! Hence my rebooking w/him to take out my 2nd molar =)

I'm 29 years old, and I've had a few problems with my teeth. I first went to Dr Catrambone when I was 21 to have have all 4 of my wisdom teeth out, and since then have only gone to him. All I can say is he is a talented man. I had no bruising, little to no swelling and only a couple days of soreness. He made sure I had anesthesia for the procedure and pain medication for the days to follow. i have used him for extractions and plan to have him do my implant also. I would highly recommend anyone to Dr. cartrambone, especially if you're a nervous patient and u prefer to be asleep for procedures, he will make sure you're comfortable and understand everything. TRULY the BEST
