Dr. Richard Antonio Cayasso, MD

Got billed 200 dollars for the doctor to tell me that he couldn't start treatment 2 days after I was referred to him to start. I was billed 200.00 just for him to tell me that he couldn't help me. He then referred me out to another doctor for testing that I didn't need as I had already been tested and diagnosed. I then saw another doctor there a week later who started treatment on the spot and stated I didn't need the testing that this doctor made me get. I'm sure the bill for the testing will be more than the 200 dollars for him to tell me he can't help as well. I was warned by another patient of his that this has happened to them in the past 2 times! Very dissapointed in the services of this doctor and that Gundersen said that I was stuck with the bill anyways.

Dr. Cayasso was my husband's and my doctor for 2 years. Unfortunately, he is no longer since we moved, but we would have loved to bring him with us! He is kind and very personable. He always listened to us without making us feel like he was being rushed. If he didn't know the answer to something, he was never afraid to admit it, he would even look up stuff on his PDA (such as side effects to medications) while in the room with us. Dr. Cayasso laughed with us and we never felt uncomfortable with him. He is one of the best doctors we have encountered! His staff was of the same quality. It was actually a pleasure to go see them!

Dr Cayasso is great. He is exactly what I look for in a doctor. Intelligent, empathetic, and interested in providing top shelf care. He is willing to take extra time when necessary but can also be very accomadating if needed. He is considerate of your concerns and is able to commincate on your level. I played football through high school and throughout college and have had 2 surgeries and a number of other injuries to varying degrees and Dr Cayasso has been great to work with. I've seen varying personalities from surgeons, to nurses, to ER Dr, and everything in between and Dr Cayasso and his staff are fantastic. I hope he never leaves hi practice here at Gunderson! He understands that I would prefer to avoid medication but tells me when and if it's necessary. He even worked with me trying to find a generic prescription when I wanted to see if another was more acceptable by my insurance. A+ Very thankful for Dr Cayasso!

I just started with him. I think he is cool. He's the kind of doctor that likes to go by facts and not what ever you tell him.

Very easy to talk with, thorough in exam. Would actually rather him do everything than send me to a specialist. Have a lot of confidence in him. He never gives you the fast, lets get it over with approach. He's young and doesn't try to over med you, like a lot of doctors who find it easier to hand you a prescription. If you're a druggy, you're not getting anything here for your fake pain.
