Dr. R. Brannon Claytor, MD

The most horrible experience ever from a surgeon, especially one maintaining your face. He injected multiple places with tiny spats of blood oozing (while standing), no aftercare, no instructions and my face had nodules with varying black, blues and green marks for weeks. Would not recommend him, sloppy & careless!!

After getting the news that I had early stage breast cancer and that I would need a mastectomy, my world felt like it was caving in. Dr. Claytor was amazing. He took the time to reassure my husband and I that we were going to get through this. Dr. Claytor did a fantastic job with my reconstruction. His attention to detail in everything from the O.R. to a follow up appointment was spot on. I don’t wish this on anyone, but if you ever find yourself with this horrible diagnosis, I would definitely recommend Dr. Claytor.

Dr Claytor is a nice guy. He is willing to answer questions. But I did not find him as knowledgeable as other physicians I met with and I did not have confidence that he could handle difficult situations. The office staff members are not very gracious.

I went to Claytor to have some large pores removed from my chin. I don't remember the exact name of the treatment and instrument he used. He got right to work on my chin, never studying it carefully. He just said, Oh yes. We can do that. He did not give me any instructions when I left the office nor a suggestion of what I might use to ease the discomfort a little. I had to stop on my way home to get a can of cold soda just to hold against my chin. I returned to the office three weeks later. He said my chin was healed. At that time I was not satisfied with the appearance of it but was told that the little bit of swelling would reduce. Months later, after growiing increasingly unhappy with how I looked, I visited one other doctor and two aesteticians for an opinion. Each one of them said the work was sloppy and could have been done much better. I returned to Claytor's office thinking that he might be willing to improve on his work. My fault, I waited too long, more than a year, and he… would not even take a close look at my face. Again, he never looked at my chin to see why I was dissatisfied, never showed any concern for me as his patient. He was apathetic to the point of almost being blase. He suggested that I use the aesthertician in his office, which of course I had no intention of doing. By the time I get my chin back to looking presentable, I will have spent over $3,000. Needless to say, I would never recommend Claytor for anything.

I had a procedure done with Dr. Claytor and words are not enough to express my gratitude. I not only appreciate Dr. Claytor taking the time out to ensure my previous health issues were discussed he also gives detailed consultations, ensures you are ready and comfortable for your upcoming surgery and supports you during your recovery. I am at the end of my healing phase and this is one of the best decisions I have made for my life. Loving my end results and so grateful for Dr. Claytor and his staff. He goes above and beyond the normal call of duty.

Dr. Claytor is an outstanding physician and surgeon. He is a colleague, associate and doctor for me. I selected him to move from New England to assume the care of my patients when I left practice. I also selected him to care for an injury I received. He has my highest 5-Star recommendation.

Dr. Claytor performed a breat reduction on my 16 year old daughter. I cannot believe the results. We originally were going to try for Liposuction until we met with Dr. Claytor. He explained the cutting procedure and she absolutely loved his kindness,patients and his bedside manner. His ability to perform a straight line is amazing, her scaring is minimal and nearly perfect . I would reccomend Dr. Claytor to anyone who is thinking of having plastic surgery. He is truly one of a kind. I thank him for giving my daughter the self esteem she has never really had until she got the surgery. I can never re-pay the amazing care that you showed my daughter. I cannot say enough about Dr. Claytor and his team - from the front of the house to the back. Here are my top reasons for highly recommending Dr. Claytor: 5) VALUES MY TIME - I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room. More often than not - I go in early. 4)INCREDIBLE PATIENCE AND BEDSIDE MANNER â?? Dr. Claytor has the most amazing ability to make you think that you are his only patient. Not sure how he can get patients in on time when he is so patient during each appointment. 3) GREAT TEAM - not only does Dr. Claytor make you think you are the only one but his team does as well 2) CONVENIENCE - except for the mastectomy that was done outpatient at a hospital, all treatments inc. the surgical procedure to remove/ replace the expanders was all done at Dr. Claytor's facility 1) MOST IMPORTANTLY SKILL - at the end of the day you hope that it all turns out well. After 18 years I decided to reconstruct as well as do a prophylactic mastectomy/… reconstruct the other breast - Dr. Claytor had to deal with old scars, etc - INCREDIBLE results . Just beautiful! Wouldn't change a thing!!!!
