Dr. Richard L Cohen, DO

Absolutely terrible experience with Dr. Richard Cohen’s office. I had a follow-up appointment scheduled for my bloodwork today. The moment I walked in, the staff told me they were running behind because they had clearly over-scheduled patients. Fine — delays happen. I stepped outside for five minutes to take a call, and as soon as I returned, they told me the doctor “tried to squeeze me in” but since I wasn’t physically sitting there at that exact second, they had to reschedule my appointment. Is that seriously the reason? Instead of blaming the patient, why not just admit you overbooked and couldn’t keep up? I’ve been going to Dr. Cohen for many years, and this is by far the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had. My time has value too, and today it was treated like it meant nothing. I will not be returning, and I do not recommend this office to anyone who respects their own time. This place has gone downhill — avoid it if you don’t want your appointments randomly canceled… and your day wasted.

Dr. Cohen is an amazing doctor in every way. I have been a patient since 1996. He will go above and beyond to help you. I recommend him for all family members. He saw me as a teen and now treats my children and myself. His office staff is great as well. Highly recommend.

Dr. Cohen truly cares about his patients and extremely thorough when treating his patients. Down to earth good guy who truly cares about helping others.

Excellent doctor!

Dr. Cohen is a good doctor, but his office staff cannot make an appointment to save their life! Every time I call to make a Wednesday appointment I get a reminder call that it is on Tuesday, it has happened twice this month so far. When I call his office the staff answered the phone saying, " yeah" that is not professional for a medical facility.

If this rating had 10 stars dr Cohen deserves 20...

Dr. Cohen is one of the most compassionate doctor I have ever met. He was the doctor I had while I was pregnant with my son in 1990. He took 30 minutes out of his day to talk to me on the phone when I was having a hormonal breakdown. I have never met another doctor since that has given me the time of day. Thank you for caring 24 years later.

He didn't stop until he found what was causing my issue. Great listener and perfect bedside manner. Even fought with the insurance company when they were trying to tell him what meds to give me. The thing i enjoy most about him is that he acts like a REAL person. He is the way ALL doctors should strive to be.
