Dr. Richard Doyan, MD

Absolutely horrible experience with this doctor. Family member went in for a heart attack. This doctor saw the family member initially and then never followed up or went over labs or tests results. He called the primary doctor who admitted the family member immediately over the phone and then Dr. Doyan told a nurse that patient is not my problem anymore when the family started asking questions about the patients condition while waiting for transfer upstairs. He never explained what he was doing and was very unprofessional. If he is the only dr in the er like he was when my family member came in you are better off going somewhere else. He violated my family members patient rights by not telling us anything about his condition and we will be reporting the experience to multiple agencies. From what we experienced this doctor should not be practicing medicine. Its doctors like this who give Sierra View a bad reputation.

Doctors are supposed to be respectful and compassionate not rude and telling their patients to shut up when they are in chronic pain. I will personally file a complaint with the California Department of Public Health and the Medical Board. If he can't treat patients with dignity then he needs to quit or be terminated along with his licence!

This "doctor" decided it would be a good idea to evangelize to my 11 year old, telling her to pray, that she should "pray every day", and that she need to go to church. I finally had enough, and told him that we were here for medical treatment only. He took offense to this, and tells me in front my child that he didn't say anything wrong. Uh...yeah he did. Leave the religious stuff to the parents. He was WAY out of line.

Waited 7 hours to get a diagnosis for my 4 month old baby who had a high fever. When th e doctor finally came in to give us results, he proceeded to tell me that my baby was obese (she is not obese, her pediatrician says her weight is normal for a breastfed baby) he continued to tell me that its my fault shes gonna be obese and told me to quit giving her milk. That she can just have pure water. Anyways, got the diagnosis right (thanks to a swab test) but I dont recommend him. Very rude doctor. Doesnt treat patients with respect.

I would never visit this doctor again! We had to wait 2 1/2 hours, the office was gross and freezing (it was like entering a doctor's office in Russia in the 1970's!), the staff didn't speak English very well, and we were supposed to get a referral in "3 or 4 days" but after 4 WEEKS of endless excuses, we never did receive it! It was easier to change doctors!

Never in my life have I had such a horrible experiance! By far the worst doctor you can see. I am currently in the hospital with my mother and he has been nothing but rude and disrespectful. I would never recomend him to anyone. He rolled his eyes at me and yelled at my mom (patient) , saying " its just a headache, how bad can it be " I recomend when dealing with him , stand your ground, just as he snaps, you can do so too, youre already being disrespected might as well give him a dose of his own medicine ( no pun intended ).

Rude, argues, tired, overworked, and yells, but there's no doubt that this man knows his stuff, and definitely got my diagnosis right. Wastes no time with small-talk, in-out experience. Reliable & dependable.

Cannot even give one star for this man - the title of Doctor should not be presented to this man. Emergeny room treatment was terrible and nearly non existent - he argued with the nurses, treated my family member with extreme disrespect - apparently he has an age prejudice. Can not, will not, reccomend this man.
