Overall, I would have to say my treatment and after visits were excellent.

For my first ever colonoscopy I was referred to Dr. Dumois. Making the office appointment seemed somehow easier than with my GP. When I got to the office I could see why. Well-managed and patient-friendly! I saw Dr. Dumois's PA, Tina, and discussed the procedure, where she answered my questions and addressed my concerns. The "pièce de résistance" was Barbara who set the appointment for the procedure and prep work. She actually looked at me and spoke directly to me, like I was a real person. You'd never guess that she'd been doing this for years and said the same things to people hundreds of times. I didn't see Dumois himself until the procedure itself, and was nearly as impressed at his personable approach. The procedure went smoothly, he spoke to me afterwards with a preliminary review. The followup with Tina went as smoothly and easily as the first appointment.

Dr. Dumais office is all business. The office is clean and the staff is wonderful. Best of all: Dr. Dumais listens, is thorough and "goes the extra mile" to locate the actual CAUSE of the problem. He does NOT "put a Band-Aid on it"--how often can you find a Dr. to do that? IF you have any upper or lower issues with bloating or acid reflux, etc. go see this Dr. It may be serious or can be treated before it becomes serious. He accepted my Medicare Plan and changed my life. He also restored my faith in the medical field. They have the ability and tools to heal--if they believe we are worth it--like Dr. Dumais.
