Dr. Richard Lenox Farrell, MD

Immediate test results used in a data based visit. There is no wait time, really, though there is a notice that when needed extra time is given to a patient. It this a problem? With my initial visit, Dr. Farrell stopped the interview and said he wanted to take a test. From looking at me he diagnosed an unknown problem with pre diabetes. All my "numbers" have become in the proper region according to the print out I get at the visit. We talk about life changes to improved the numbers.

The check in staff was discourteous and cold. Mechanic. I have waited in the past for 30 minutes plus when I had afternoon appointments - and chalked it up to getting behind schedule. Today I had a 9:30 appointment and watched not one patient in the waiting room go in, actually one came out and waited over 15 minutes for some paperwork. A pharmaceutical rep was granted more pleasantries and a faster audience than us patients. After over 45 minutes without even an apology for my waiting - I walked out. Oh, and if you are uncomfortable around dogs - don't go here as his dog is the first one to greet you when you do finally get through the door. Crotches beware!!

Dr. Farrell is an amazing doctor. He really genuinely cares about his patients. He will listen to what you have to say and spend a great deal of time with you during an appointment. He will call you at home to talk over test results and doesn't let things slip by. If he feels that you need to go to a specialist for one particular area he does not hesitate to recommend. I highly recommend Dr. Farrell for a primary physician.

Dr. Farrell is a very caring Dr. and an extremely good diagnostician. If he thinks something is wrong he wastes no time in going after the problem. He also has a great sense of humor which puts the patient a ease. I have great faith in him.

Great interpersonal skills and very competent as a diagnostitian and in treating problems. I love his sense of humor. I usually leave his office with a smile on my face.
