Dr. Richard Ellis Fine, MD

Horrible experience. Dr.Fine was rude and condescending. I witnessed him interrupt a nurse , then proceed to interrupt me several times. Generally I am not particular about the gender of my Dr. The experience with him has made me question my decision to go to male Dr.’s regarding the female body. He gave me no specific information regarding my concern. “You have several….” Tuh, How many is several sir?! I only knew how many because I looked at the ultra sound screen while it was being performed. Then he told me they were too small to “feel” despite me saying I feel them. I tried to explain that my original breast Dr. Was located in another state. Although I loved the experience with them (especially the PROFESSIONALISM) , I could not keep driving that far for a Dr. Appt. His exact words were… “ If you have a Dr. Why are you here ?” I just said I found a lump in my breast last week. I hope this review saves someone else the discomfort & time to go to someone with better bedside… manners.

He was my doctor when I had cancer the first time. My cancer returned later and the tumor was 3 cm. I don’t think he removed it during surgery. My family ask to speak to him after my surgery and he was no where to be found and acted very strange

Fine is rude and inconsiderate. He didn’t even perform an assessment. Her also is a liar. He spoke with me about a surgical procedure to alleviate my problems with my breast but when I returned he had no memory of our discussion even though he’d documented it in his H&P. He told my advocate that I didn’t trust him or his medical expertise. Who would trust him if he lies about what he discusses with patients and etc. I was very unpleased with my experience and I pray that other patients that have to encounter him are treated better than he treated me. If not lord help them all! I’m disgusted!

When you hear for the first time the word Cancer, all you need is that the doctor treating you is human, kind and careful to explain the whole process to you in a gentle manner. Dr.Fine suits his name well! What a fine man! Always kind and reassuring! From prep, to surgery and post care, I can only thank God for his life! He has been amazing! His staff is always kind and accommodating. You feel like you are his only patient! Right man for the job! Right person, at the right place!

A FRIEND OF MINE REFERRED ME TO DR. FINE. HE WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND TOOK A GREAT DEAL OF TIME EXPLAINING THE SURGERY PROCEDURE, WHICH WENT VERY WELL.

Dr.Fine is the most caring loving Dr.I have ever known. He has taken the best care of me and my sugery went well. His staff and affiation with WellStar Hospital is AWESOME. You couldnot ask for a better Dr. or Hospital as him.I feel blessed to have been his patient.

I think Dr. Fine is a well educated doctor in his field. Some say he is shy. I don't see this. For he has always took the time to talk to me and explain my concerns. And him the nurse and I kid around sometimes about things that he is doing are Kelly might look like that day. His staff is one of the best. They are all so friendly. I am a talker, and not once have they ever said, I don't have time. All I can say, if someone says that Dr. Fine and his staff treated them badly, then they were in the wrong office. Dr. Fine staff is one of the best and he is a very good doctor. I would and have recommended him to people.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Richard Fine. He is one of the best doctors and surgeons ever, and I feel so fortunate to have him as my breast doctor. He has been my breast doctor through my battle with breast cancer. He is honest, thorough, knowledgeable, caring. Don't mistake his quietness for distance (he's kind of shy). He cares deeply about his patients. His standard of care is THE BEST.

He was very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain things to me and my family. His office staff was awesome.

I was treated rudely by the office staff and chose another doctor to complete my treatment for breast cancer.
