Dr. Richard Peter Fitzgibbons, MD

Horrible doctor. Has a strong dislike for women and dismissed my concerns I had in my marriage. Do your research carefully when looking for a doctor, he came highly recommended.

Dr. Fitzgibbons experience and expertise in his field has had a tremendous healing impact for me and my family. Through his guidance, my family and I have found strength and an optimistic future in ways that I never knew would have been possible.

This man traumatized me. Please do yourself a big favor and find someone else. He would always hang up on my so abruptly and told me my life is sad. This man made me feel so anxious and terrible about myself.

I highly recommend Dr. Fitzgibbons to anyone who is experiencing anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues. He helped mea dress my anxiety over a six month period and I have remained anxiety free for more than a year.

I know Dr Fitzgibbons to be a compassionate Dr who has a keen ability to provide insights into your circumstance and about the environment one is in to help you improve your emotional reactions to your environment in a healthy way. He listens and is a hopeful supportive Dr.

We have been seeing Dr. Fitzgibbons for some time and he has been very helpful for our whole family but especially for our son. He listens intently and makes suggestions with an open mind. I feel he is very caring and thoughtful.

I lost my husband in 911 and my young traumatized daughter came along with me to see treatment from Dr. Fitzgibbons. It wasn’t just the trauma of 911 it was also because I had remarried and a second man in our lives had sadly disappeared in much the same abrupt way. We were both desperate and wounded again and needed help. Went to him for years for anxiety and depression. Helped me for a while, but when I got married he accused my spouse of being controlling even though he never met them. He Insisted I bring my spouse in for couples therapy. I Felt like my spouse was being set up. When I said no to bringing my spouse in he cut me off and refused to see me. Very unprofessional and strange. I spent years giving him thousands of dollars and felt like I was stabbed in the back in the end. I had placed my trust in him; which was a mistake.

My experience with this psychiatrist and his assistant hasn't been professional. He treated our child briefly and didn't advise us on sid effects of the medication he prescribed. When we we questioned him about this he refused to help us. Our child doesnt have any history of mental disorder with suicidal or homicidal tendencies where medications would be mandated. His secretary was very rude and argumentative. We felt isolated and not part of our childs treatment.
