Dr. Fixott is also very active in the forensic community and has aided in identifying remains from 9/11, Vietnam and Korean MIAs, and local and national disaster victim recovery efforts. He served as the president of the American Society of Forensic Odontology in 1998. Is a diplomat of the American Board of Forensic Odontology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences.Â
