Horrific "bedside" manner and temperament, in addition to being very condescending. Did not listen to any details regarding the pain/injuries that would have been beneficial to any medical professionals assessment of an individual! Will be seeking services and treatment else where for this condition. This is the FIRST Medical Professional at MUSC that I have encountered that had me completely disturbed!

was hoping that such a highly rated doctor would help with my shoulder pain but he wasn't in the room long enough to even know if I had a shoulder. Didn't know anything about what testing I had had and didn't agree with the MRI. Where do you go after that? somewhere else

Dr. Friedman performed knee replacement on both of my knees. He is highly skilled, personable, and compassionate. He treats his patients with respect and explains in lay terms extremely well. I highly recommend him .

Terrific outcome from reverse shoulder replacement. Dr Friedman is a great surgeon and does superior work. Could be more pleased with results .

I had both shoulders replaced by Dr. Friedman a few years ago. At the time, my pain level was 10 out of 10 and my range of motion was about 30%. After the surgery and rehab I had regained 95% range of motion and pain was gone. I now play golf, exercise and function as though I never had a problem. An excellent doctor with excellent results has made me a happy camper again.

This man ruined my life. I was 32 when I went to him for a hip replacement surgery. After getting an infection during my surgery he put a spacer in after he tore out my implant. The spacer stayed dislocated because he used the wrong size. He actually dropped me as a patient when I was in a wheelchair with 2 pic lines for antibiotics and a dislocated hip. My children were 1 and 4. I have had to have 7 surgeries to try to correct what he did, but he messed me up so I will never be OK again. He also left a screw in me when he tore out my hip. I have met several other of this man's victims.
