Dr. Richard Paul Gaskill, MD

At the time of this review Dr. Gaskill is a home care doctor for Onsite Health. From the beginning I provided him with my complete diagnostic records in a binder ready for him. He read none of it. He just asked me for literature about my condition. I provided some. I have several unique genetic conditions. He never offered to do some research on his own, or offered additional treatment. There are no studies for unique genetic conditions. I thought he was compassionate. He suggested that my condition was psychiatric. I offered that he talk to my psychiatrist. He never did. Then he discharged me. No referral. He called me and explained that I was not cooperative. I was without care for six weeks. I was bed-ridden, I could not move. My husband had to carry me to the ER. Just because I have an invisible connective tissue disorder and dysautonomia does not mean my psychiatrist can manage it. Sometimes a physician needs to pick up the phone and talk to other providers. Occationally you have… to read a record. I did not get the impression that Dr. Gaskill does those things. I would not have written this review, had I not heard from other patients of Dr. Gaskill's. He had withdrawn necessary medications from them. He harmed them. And he does not look out for his patients. He looks out for himself.

He was unfriendly from the start, he was unprofessional in many ways. He couldn't even say how he to wanted to exam me, made me choose to the point of ridiculousness. He didn't even ask what meds I've already used for the condition, before he told me what to use. And he complained about me not listening to him when he was the one not listening to me or addressing my concerns. He was totally uncompassionate and unconcerned about my feelings. And he had a know it all attitude. Nurse was ok.

Very easy to talk to. Spends quality time answers all my questions.

I've seen him for almost 20 years and wouldn't change a thing.
