Dr. Richard A Goldberg, DO

I have been seeing Dr. Goldberg for several years and am comfortable in his care. I have a number of different areas of pain and he has carefully sorted things out, referred me when necessary, and done testing as applicable. He actually listens and remembers what I have said from visit to visit. I recommend him highly.

This guy is the worst ortho doctor i have ever seen and I have been to about 10 different ones in the past 25 years while trying to get help with a piriformis sciatica problem. while talking to him i mentioned the MRI's and he stated that he does not diagnose based on the MRI - he then proceeded to ignore almost everything i told him. for some reason he made up his mind that he did not want to treat me and declared "I cannot do anything for you" ? he mentioned some completely unrelated stuff about hips - my advice - do not see this guy unless you have a premeditated desire for hip surgery - must be his specialty. also, he was extremely egotistical and rude while doing a 10 minute diagnosis of my problem.

This Dr. is fantastic. Injected my knees using both "Outside" and "inside"anesthesia. Not like the first Jerk who only put the anesthetic on outside. I would recommend him, and have, to everyone who needs an Ortho.

Came in for lower back problems, sent me to Physical Therapy and didn't tell them what does he want from PT staff. PT didn't help and he didn't have any good insight

I saw Dr. Goldberg 4 years ago after I was misdiagnosed by several other Doctors and their physician assistants for several months. He was able to diagnose and treat my labral hip tear very quickly. I don't know what I would have done without him. He was the only one of the many orthopedic doctors who could actually read the MRI that had been misread by a Jefferson Hospital Radiologist, which many pretended to beable to read. Thank you Dr. Goldberg forgetting rid of the worst pain in my life!

this 'doctor' misdiagnosised me and caused considerable pain and distress. my leg is now permanently disformed and i couldn't even go after him for a malpractice suit.
