Dr. Richard S Goldfarb, MD

So fortunate Dr Goldfarb is my husbands doctor.

I took a family member to see Dr. Goldfarb. He referred the family member to another specialist. The specialist was very polite and was thorough explaining the MRI results. My family member did not have any compression of the spinal cord and was referred back to Dr. Goldfarb. Upon seeing Dr. Goldfarb, he was rude and over talked us. He said more than once that there was nothing he could do for us! He said he would order a bone scan but believed that it would not be beneficial. That does not make sense financially or health wise. He asked the name of the Neurologist. I told him and he said he was very good and had spoken to him earlier in the day. If that was the case, why not collaborate using a multidisciplinary approach on your elderly patient instead of recommending scans that you believe are not beneficial and sending them to different specialist who disagrees with your diagnosis. It was a cluster, expensive and a waste of time. With that being said, my family elderly member did… not get anything achieved.

Patient, listens, great patient communication.

Dr. Goldfarb is a very caring and compassionate doctor. He spends the time with his patients and listens to the fears. When discussing things he is sure to make you understand and makes you a part of the solution.
