I saw Dr Gomendoza for thyroid issues. I was taking a natural thyroid with good results, but the Dr who had prescribed them had retired, so I was in search for a new Dr. So I went to see Dr Gomendoza. He told me I could not be his patient IF I wanted to continue on the natural thyroid medication. Needless to say, he's not my Dr!

I went to Dr. Gomendoza for a second opinion. I was told that my mislocated bad parathyroid would have to be removed by having a sternonomy.....a surgery that would take weeks of recovery and much discomfort! Dr Gomendoza referred my to an amazing surgeon in Florida that was able to remove the parathyroid by leaving a 1" scar on my neck. I was sitting in the hotel pool that very afternoon enjoying the Florida sun! Dr. Gomendoza continues to follow my post-op levels. I am following his practice to Kansas City! I am so very very thankful for his expertise and knowledge!

First time got appointent in less than a week. even call me and personally spoke to me about tests. very concerning physician. (cannot do rating-I will give him all 5's except promptness and staff.those are 4's

You can't get in to see him in any timely manner...he thinks people can wait 6 months to see him and THAT is NOT possible when you have an auto immune disease like type 1 diabetes. His staff is RUDE and they have do not have any genuine care for the people they are suppose to be taking care of.
