I came in the hospital in emergency with severe pain. I was taken right away. I was given paid meds, but the next day had surgery. It was touch and go I was told. He saved my life. I am indebted to him.

I found Dr. Grotz to be an exceptional surgeon a real credit to his profession. My surgical procedure was exactly the way he said it would be my recovery time was very short. He explained everything perfectly before my surgery.

As a Colon Cancer Survivor I would not trust my care to anyone other than Dr. Grotz. I interviewed many surgeons in Bostons elite hospital and this man truly cares about the quality of his patients lives, and not just cutting. Very respectful of schedules, and doesn't try to keep you coming in for unneceesary follow ups. Isn't afraid to go out on a limb and state his opinion even if it differs from others within his community. This man is a model of what all doctors should be.
