Dr. Richard Henry Gunning, MD

We have a great deal of respect for Dr. Gunning and the advice he has given us over the years. He takes his time with us during our visits and get's back with us when necessary.

Most appointments with Dr Gunning run too long because he likes to talk about things unrelated to the patient's health. He talks about his personal life and politics while ill patients are waiting to be seen.

Dr. Gunning takes his time, he sits and talks to you, he talks about life, he learns about you, and sometimes he gets a little behind schedule,

my mother goes to him she is a very complicated case she is an alcoholic and he doesn't just look at that he still tries to treat her and still treats her with respect every time I go there with her

great Doctor

Dr. Gunning has been my PCP for about 6 years. Even though I have moved 40 minutes from where he practices, I still make the drive to see him - it's worth it! He always takes the time to find out what's wrong, no matter how long it takes. When I was recently in the hospital, he came in on his day off to visit me. He is the epitome of what a family physician should be- he is kind, generous and cracks me up when I need a good laugh! My family will never go to another physician because there is none better than Dr. Gunning.

Dr.G has been the best doctor i have ever seen. He tells jokes, smiles and listens to all my concerns and always puts me at ease. He is almost as good as Dr.Ghoubrial.

excellent doctor

I've had to call Dr. Gunning on a few rare occasions on the weekend...and he's so gracious and concerned for my wellbeing. He's never acted like he's too busy to listen to all my symptoms.
