Dr. Richard Alan Hall, MD

My family and I have been going to Dr. Hall for several years. He and his staff are always friendly. Dr. Hall is easy to talk to, always listens, and is truly concerned with my health. I highly recommend Dr. Hall to everyone.

The Pa's at his office are quacks. they talk people into going to mental hospitals instead of getting them to the nearest Therapist, its all about the money. How pathetic they are, sending someone far away from their support system. That is not thinking about the patient. Would not let my dog see one of their PA's. I hope the PA gets what she deserves, she has no business treating patients.

I had Dr. Hall as a family doctor over about 12 years while he was at Gateway Internal Med&Pediatrics. Some of these proceeding harsh personal criticisms don't fit my experience at all. All I can say is that I've dealt with many doctors over the years, and he is as effective as any of them.

Dr. Hall treated my newborn in the hospital. We were new to the area and did not have a pediatrician yet. Our daughter was born with complications and very low birth weight due to my advanced material age. Although Dr. Hall did a great job caring for our daughter at birth I do have some concerns. I brought her in to his office for her third follow up and weigh in at 9 week's. She also had a bad head cold and wasn't feeling well. Rather than address her illness Dr. Hall spent most of our lengthy visit trying to convince me to allow him to vaccinate our daughter. My husband and I have been married almost 25yrs and we have 7 children. All of our other 6 children are vaccinated as are we. When I voiced my concerns about our newborn daughter being ill at this time AND still weighing well below the national average and not even hitting the lines on the growth charts, he kept pushing. I never said to him I wouldn't vaccinate but that I wanted to hold off till she was over her illness… and a little stronger before injecting her with several vaccines. I'm not an uneducated woman and I know drs obtain certain incentives by strictly pushing the vaccine schedule or possibly be fined. When it comes to the health of an innocent infant already presenting complications, this one size fits all vaccine agenda isn't safe. Dr. Halls insistence on pushing to vaccinate our newborn under the circumstances raises major concerns for me as a mother.

If you are a patient that just goes to the doctor for checkups and med refills then you should be fine, but if you have heart disease, circulation problems, or another serious health condition, I would suggest finding another doctor because Dr Hall is not that great at dealing with complex health problems. Jolena, his PA, is great and Sandy and Cindy are super nice too! The majority of the office staff are kind to but I have to admit they do not call you back when they say they will or get your med refills called in in a timely manner. Sometimes I had to call in up to three times for refills.

What a joke of an office!!! They never call you back...they never follow up on calling in prescriptions....it takes months to obtain prescriptions Prior Authorizations....Dr spends about 2 minutes and all he does is listen to your heart no matter what is wrong with you

Dr. Hall is an outstanding Primary Care Physician. He is patient and spends a great deal of time with his patients. His nursing staff is outstanding. Anyone needing a good family doctor should consider him.
