Dr. Richard Gilbert Handal, MD

I have been struggling with this pain for over 20 years and I feel that it’s time to expose this “doctor” so that I can begin healing my broken heart. I have been an L & D Nurse for 38 years and worked at BMH for 22 years. I lost my baby at 13 weeks and presented to my hospital for care as I was contracting regularly and bleeding. When it was established that there was no fetal heartbeat this man took me into the exam room on the unit and shoved his hand inside me in an attempt to remove the pregnancy. No warning or anesthesia and I begged him to stop. He took me for a D & C and subsequently told me how much blood was “in there and it really stunk”. He had an attitude the whole time perhaps bc it was 2 am on Father’s Day. I will never forget the way I was assaulted and disrespected during a crushing blow in my life.

We searched for an Ob/Gyn for years. Dr. Handal is genuinely caring doctor. His diagnosis of patients potential problems are excellent. Very Highly Recommended.

Dr Handal has been my Dr for 16 years, he delivered my twins. He is the best! Such a gentleman and an incredible Dr. Highly recommend him!

The office was dirty, and the exam room walls are paper thin so patients can hear the staff trash talking about the patients in those very same rooms.
