Dr. Richard Craig Harker, MD

I have only seen Dr. Harker a few times when my regular doctor Creston Herold was not available. He has since retired. I now see physician assistant Joe Lista, My problem with this office is and has always been the clerical staff. Recently, I received a letter signed by Mr. Lista but written by Mrs. Harker threatening to dismiss me from the practice because allegedly I had missed two appointments in a row. I do not recall that at all. I was late to an appointment, and Debbie, who is rude and abusive, would not let me stay so I could be worked in. I mean he must have been able to go onto his next patient. She made me make another appointment for the next week. I have been billed for payment for office visits that have been made in cash before seeing the medical staff. I learned to put my measly co-payment on my credit card so I have a record.

It is a pity that a good person like Dr. Harker gets a bad rap because of substandard front-office service mainly caused by Mrs. Harker. Came to the area in 2014. Selected Dr. Harker because of favorable reviews of him in the area. He is a a nice man and a good Doctor. But his administration staff are absolutely "helpless" and "unbearable". After almost 2.5 years of being a good and regular patient and having a good history today I get a call from a close member of Dr. Harker's office (Mrs. Harker) that we are behind a balance payment of a lousy $148.00. Yet when during a recent visit my wife had asked them about any balances on the family she was told NO. I like Dr. Harker but I can not stand the lackluster customer service his office provides. So, I made my way there from work and paid off "the balance" so as to prevent the Doctor's office from going bankrupt on the account of a lousy $200. I also asked for my medical files and canceled my upcoming appointment. I can… stand a lot of things but I can not stomach insinuating and degrading comments about a stupid balance of under $200. I went to the office write away, paid the balance and asked them to close my families files. She just stood there and steared at me (after getting the money of course)!

Dr. Harker is a great doctor, he takes the time to address every concern.

The best doctor I have seen : professional and human

I take my mother here every other month and the wait time is over 30 minutes past the appointment each and every time. Office staff don't even pretend to understand but rudely shrug their shoulders.

If it weren't for him I would not be alive today. He has been taking care of my family for the last 15 years and i have never had any problems.

But he keeps you waiting a little too long.
