Terrible doctor.

Patients who claim to have had a poor experience in that office most likely caused the problem. For example, you were fishing for opioids & he refused to prescribe. You owed the Dr office $$ and you didn't want to pay it so you dispute the bill. You were rude and nasty to the excessively busy staff (it's not their job to be abused by patients). If your wait is long sometimes it's because that office brings you in that day if you're ill and need treatment.

I almost lost my leg to cellulitis and Dr. Hart got it all in control (I went to a different doctor and he kept telling me it was not cellulitis.Dr. Hart knew and he put in the hospital to get it under contor.I want to Thank You Dr. Hart for being here for my family .

Your time waiting to see Dr. Hart is way too long... You should not have to sit in the dirty lobby 2-3 hours to see Dr. Hart. Then you go back in the exam room and you have to wait ANOTHER 45 minutes or so to see the Dr.And his office manager is VERY rude and ignorant..

It was horrible. I came in by request. I just was told he was a good doctor for pain management. He kept making reference to a letter sent by another doctor I had not had a good experience with. I told him. That’s why I’m here. He wanted a urine test. I couldn’t do it. The bathroom was disgusting. So he literally threw me out crying. I’m so sorry I ever went.

Office needs updated BIG time.. Carpeting chairs Too many unsanitary things out.

I went to Doctor Hart because a family member thought highly of him... or was high when he recommended him. The office was very dirty, The shelves containing medical equipment and medicines were disorganized, and it looks like it hadn't been updated since at least the 1970's. There was one person (who I am assuming is the secretary) working the desk. She seemed like a good person, but overall she was over whelmed and very disorganized. Often times she seemed confused when dealing with either myself or other patients. When She took me back to see the doctor, she asked me to provide a Urine sample. Instead of providing me a sterile container for my urine, she told me to go to the water cooler and use one of the dixie cups that were covered in dust on top of the tank. I thought about walking out just then, but I had an issue that I felt needed to be addressed promptly. I went into the back and waited for Dr. Hart to come back to the examination room. When he arrived he did not introduce… himself, he simply said "Well what's wrong with you?" I started to explain to him my symptoms and sat there and randomly nodded his head and said "MMMM HMMM, MMM HMMMM, YEP, MMMM HMMM". When I realized He wasn't listening to a thing I was telling him, I said "You aren't even listening to me are you?" Which flew right over his head. I practically had to beg him to look at a lump below my rib cage that was moving up and down. He pushed in and pulled up this lump up and said "thats your rib my friend". These were the only words he really spoke to me. when I asked him if he thought my rib was broke or out of place, it went right over his head and finished the examination. he ordered an exray for my chest and rib cage, and put me on anti inflammation pills. No explanation given for the anti inflammatory subscription. I feel as a patient I shouldn't be left to infer the reason a certain drug is going into my body. About a week after the I had the Xrays done I still had not heard from Dr. Hart's Office. I decided to call and see if they received them yet. The lady working the desk was very rude this time without getting my name or phone number she replies "No we don't have your Xrays yet". I asked her if she could check and she said "SIR, I KNOW THEY HAVEN'T COME IN YET". At this point I decided enough was enough, and cancelled my follow up with the Doctor. I scheduled another appointment with another Doctor who was very prompt and Immediately got the Xrays from the local radiologist. I recommend not going to Dr. Hart and I should have heeded the warnings from the other reviewers on this site. Its not a case of people nit picking or looking to hate bash, this is a case of someone who simply does not care and its shown through his interaction with his patients, the staff he has hired, and the condition of his Office.

I have been a patient for well over 20 years. This doctor has taken care oy myself and many other family members. We to have lost one family member. This loss was not due to his lack of knowledge or skills. It was due to a person not wanting to go forward with a recommended treatment. The doctor did his best to convince him to go to a specialty hospital however he continued to refuse. Dr. Hart was a able to keep him comfortable until his passing. He has also been supportive to all family members through this horrible time. He has a policy that all patients that say they are ill must be seen that day. People therefore may need to wait when he has said for an ill patient must be squeezed in. As to the people that complain about the others not being seen due to lack of copayment I to have seen this however i have heard these people brag about having never paid a penny on their account. They have also said the person in charge has set up a payment plan that they signed and agreed… to which is usually insurance required copayment plus five or ten dollars on the balance. People must remember this doctor has signed contracts that say they must collect the required copayment or they forfeit the agreed rate with the insurance company. When the patient is sitting outside smoking and eating snacks they can afford the copayment. I personally have knowledge if this office treating many patients for free. Many of the people that unfortunately lost employment due to closing of plants have received quality care. I agine the person who must ask for copayment many times in a day to be called nasty names and spoken to in. Rey vulgar language and not permitted to respond . Many times I have seen them call to get permission for a patient to go into the back to see the doctor even though they have " forgotten" the agreed to copayment plus past due payment. Each time the person on the other end has allowed the person to see the doctor and remind ded them to please mail tre payment. Never a Thank you to the person who has helped them. Courteous people are treated couteously, rude behavior, and vulgar language is never responded to with anything but did you need another appointment. I would and will continue to recommend this office to people who are courteous and want quality care. I as a patient fill uncomfortable with Nasty people in the office. Meet the doctor and staff and judge for yourself. Being ill doesn't give a person an excuse to be nasty all the time. I have watched these people i the office going to cars to bring people inside because they need assistance and don't want to wait in the office because they don't feel well.

Not being rude or anything but he is old fashioned and not keen on medical advancements. Id recommend another doctor.

Please carefully consider what I have to say. My mother was a patient of Dr. Harts for many years and was in very ill health for most of it. When she developed cancer and we moved all her care to The Cleveland Clinic they were literally appalled at the way she was being medicated. Some of the medications were even counter acting each other. They immediately took her off of 2/3's of the medication. Also, my dad actually had to drive back to warren to pick up her medical records etc. because they were unable to send it electronically, which is unacceptable in this day and age. The records once received were unreadable and of no use. My grandfather had 3 separate visits complaining of pain and was told it was acid reflux. When it would not go away he was taken to the hospital where they diagnosed him as having pancreatic cancer and the doctors told us that the signs were presenting themselves and the diagnosis should have been easily detectable earlier. My personal experience....The… school nurse alerted my family in that I had signs of having Scoliosis and referred us to our GP. My parents took me to see Dr. Hart who said that if there was anything it was extremely mild and not to worry about it. At the time we trusted him and I didn't have any pain so my parents did not take me for a second opinion. I have recently started seeing a chiropractor and have gotten a second opinion. My scoliosis is significant and it should have been seen and corrected much earlier. I am now undergoing appointments 3 times a week to correct the problem, which would have been MUCH easier and simpler and easier to correct 10 years ago, and spending hundreds of dollars every month. Please do yourself and your relatives a favor and find a new doctor!
