Dr. Richard Davis Hart, DO

Lewis Gale really needs work in this department. Only one urologist with hospital privileges. I understood enemies come up but my 90 year old Dad and I walked over 2 hours and never saw the doctor. List time from work for me, frustration and weariness for my Dad. Sure he's a great doctor too bad they don't have back up for him. Unacceptable.

This is as much a review of the office as the physician. The hold time on the phone is often in excess of 20 minutes. On about 3 out of 5 calls or visits the computer system is "down" which prevents the staff from completing their duties. On my last visit, while trying to make an appointment I was told to call back "in a couple days". The better response would have been to take my info and call ME back when the system was up. Although Dr. Hart seems to be a caring person and easy to communicate with, he also appears to be a bit "distracted". He ordered an X-ray and after six months and three visits he had not viewed the x-ray. That didn't prevent him from ordering a second "more current" x-ray. Over six months dealing with an issue which was diagnosed within five minutes of my visit to another practice using the original x-ray. Dr. Hart, as well as the staff in this practice, are very friendly and courteous but appear to be very unorganized. Too much time and money spent with… no positive results at all.
